What Does “OK biobased” Actually Mean?

“OK biobased” is TÜV Austria’s certification system for products made from renewable raw materials.

There are four levels from one to four stars based on the percentage of bio-based content. Razeco’s razors earned the highest level available with a 4-star rating. That means 99 percent of the product is made from certified bio-based sources.

Very few shaving products even qualify.

Why Razeco Doesn’t Say “Biodegradable”
