The idea for Razeco was born over dinner. Our family is active in the biotech sector, Louisa is managing director there. We also had access to our material made from industrial waste materials, which is completely sustainable but just as stable as conventional plastic. And then there was this idea: Why not use it to develop a product that everyone uses and thus saves around 100,000 tons of plastic per year? That's how it all started. Not perfectly planned, but with a clear goal: rethinking products. Plastic-free. The three of us founded Razeco: Louisa, Ivo and Victor.

The Berlin-based start-up Razeco is setting new standards in shaving: The Razeco5 is the first system razor with 99% bio-based blade heads made from industrial waste — plastic-free, TÜV-certified and fairly priced.
