Your first shave - do it differently than your dad

The fuzz is getting thicker and you ask yourself: Does it have to go away now? Welcome to the club! The first shave is an important moment, somewhere between “finally growing up” and “How does that actually work? ”. Many simply use the razor that their father has been using for decades. But do you really want to do everything the generation before you did? The good news: You don't have to.

Dry or wet shave - which is better?

Dry shaving is convenient, no question about it. Quick over it, it's done. But this is often pure stress, especially for young skin. Your body is in the transition phase, the skin reacts sensitively and electric razors irritate it even more.

Wet shaving is gentler and has clear advantages:

  • Smoother result that feels better
  • Less skin irritation when used correctly
  • Exfoliating effect removes dead skin cells and prevents pimples
  • You have full control over pressure and direction

If you have sensitive or impure skin, wet shaving is usually the better choice, especially for your first shave.

Old razors vs. new generation - an end to plastic

Your dad probably swears by brands like Gillette or Wilkinson. Sure, they worked. But these plastic razors with five blades, gel strips and superfluous packaging are slowly becoming a thing of the past. Today, things are more sustainable and stylish. This is where Razeco comes in. No plastic, no unnecessary frills, no guilty conscience.

Why Razeco is different

Razeco razors are made from bio-based materials, not fossil plastic.

  • The blade heads are made from renewable raw materials
  • They can be disposed of in a CO2-neutral manner
  • They are microplastic-free and therefore environmentally friendly

And the best part: no gel strips. These colorful gel strips of classic razors often contain chemical ingredients that can irritate your skin, especially for teenagers with sensitive skin. Razeco deliberately refrains from doing so. Less is really more here.

How to make your first shave

With the right preparation, wet shaving becomes a game changer.

  1. Wash face with warm water, this opens the pores
  2. Apply, protect and nourish shaving cream or shaving gel
  3. Always shave in the direction of growth to avoid skin irritation
  4. Then use cold water to close the pores
  5. Finally, apply a mild, alcohol-free care product

This simple routine ensures that your skin stays fresh, smooth, and healthy after shaving. Do your own thing

Your dad means well when he shows you his old razor. But you don't have to repeat every mistake. You can go your own way that's better for your skin and for the planet.

Razeco gives you the opportunity to start your first shave sustainably:

  • Gentle on the skin
  • Free from fossil plastic
  • Without microplastics
  • Better for the environment
  • Stylish in design

Your first shave is more than just routine, it's a statement.

Your face, your rules, your planet.
